The Axon 9 Pro is ZTE’s newest high-end cell phone. The model was presented this Thursday (30) for IFA 2018 and follows the look of other recent releases. It features the controversial notch and a “chin” at the bottom.
The Axon 9 Pro slot houses the 20-megapixel front camera. At the rear, the smartphone has a dual camera, 20 megapixels and 12 megapixels. The sensors are arranged vertically, just like the iPhone X, but the flash lies below them.
For the new phone, ZTE included a 4,000 mAh battery and a 845 octa-core Snapdragon processor with frequency up to 2.8 GHz. The handset has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, which can increase by an additional 512 GB with a microSD card.
The Axon 9 Pro can be unlocked with both the fingerprint reader at the back and with facial recognition. It has a USB-C port, leaves the factory with Android 8.1 Oreo and will be sold in black and blue colors. The launch for consumers takes place in September, in Europe alone, for 649 euros (about R $ 3,160).
When presenting the device, ZTE also indicated that it intends to launch a cell phone with 5G soon. The company would already be working on the development of new handsets. This news, however, should only be for the second half of 2019.
