Chinese manufacturer Vivo has excelled in recent months thanks to the technologies it has implemented in its smartphones such as the front-facing pop-up camera Vivo NEX line , the biometrics on the screen in more and more devices and also the gouge notch that is became a standard of BBK Electronics (corporation owner of OnePlus, Oppo and Vivo).
Now the company has just introduced the V11, a model that unites all of Vivo’s latest technologies and investments, but leaves behind the reversible Type-C USB connector to go back to the times when the microUSB cable was still an industry standard.
The model arrives with what Vivo calls the “Halo Fullview Display”, the company’s own brand for the screen pattern you see above with drop notch and rounded edges (just as Samsung calls its Infinite Display screen , by example). Regarding the specs we have an intermediate Snapdragon 660 chipset and an interesting set with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, and arrive with Android 8.1 Oreo with the manufacturer’s own Funtouch OS 4.5 interface. Android 9 Foot is not yet confirmed for the smartphone.
The V11 arrives with two rear cameras being the main 12 MP with f / 1.8 aperture and the 5 MP secondary to assist in capturing depth information. The front camera has 25 MP resolution and f / 2.0 aperture.
As said at the beginning, the device has a biometric sensor under the screen that is progressing more and more and in addition to becoming more precise, we have also seen more speed and agility when unlocking the smartphone, now being as fast as a conventional sensor . The device has a 3,400 mAh battery and also supports fast charging.
