As it prepares to launch the Galaxy Note 9 in Brazil, Samsung continues to upgrade other devices with the August security patch. We recently showed that the Galaxy S7 Edge received this update in other countries while following in the novel called Android Oreo in Brazil.
Now the South Korean giant is releasing the August security patch for the Galaxy Note 8 in some specific markets. According to some users, the update is already available for devices from the United Arab Emirates, whereby it receives the software version N950FXXU4CRH3.
Samsung’s notes do not provide information about what security measures are implemented with this update. Even so, as we’ve shown before, the August security patch brings fixes to 11 loopholes in Android .
In addition, some flaws discovered in Samsung’s proprietary interface are also being closed. For now, we do not yet know when the South Korean giant intends to release this update for devices located in the Brazilian market.
However, taking into account the history of the company, it is quite possible that the update does not take long to arrive here. It is worth remembering that we showed yesterday (08/15) that the Galaxy Note 9 should be released in Brazil on August 30 , and that soon we publish some price forecasts .
