Not that you have not yet seen them , but Motorola officially announced on Friday (31) the Motorola One and Motorola One Power , two smartphones with intermediate hardware and notch in the format of the iPhone X. They participate in the Android One program of Google that guarantees system updates and security patches faster.
They are two models, which differ by the screen and the hardware, sharing some details with the Motorola P30 , facing the Chinese market. Both the One and One Power have a glass-back design, a notch on the screen (but retaining a Motorola-branded “chin”), an 8-megapixel self-service camera, and a 13-megapixel pair with depth recognition in the rear.
Not all specifications were disclosed. Motorola says the One has a 2.0 GHz Octa-Core processor Snapdragon 625, a 5.9-inch screen (1520 × 720 pixels) and “a full-day battery with a single charge.” One Power comes with a 1.8 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 636, 6.2-inch screen (2280 × 1080 pixels), 64 GB of storage and “up to two days of battery”.
They come from the factory with Android 8 .1 Oreo, but Motorola promises that the handsets will be “among the first to be upgraded to Android 9 Foot.” In addition, as provided by the Google program, Motorola One and One Power will receive Android Q (10.0?) And monthly security fixes for three years after the global launch.
The Motorola One will be sold in Europe, Latin America and Asia from September, with a suggested price of 299 euros, while One Power will land in India in October, with no set value. There is still no price and availability information in the Brazilian market.
