The race for smartphones with as few borders as possible is getting fierce. more and more companies are starting to get into the joke. At Mobile World Congress saw the APEX concept , with 98% of frontal use, which then became the Vivo NEX S . Then Oppo appeared, and showed off his Find X , which has a motor at the top that hides the cameras and displays them when needed, automatically
The key point in the Find X case is that it has an entire mobile top, unlike the NEX S where only the front camera is hidden. Several companies apparently liked the idea of Oppo, and Honor showed a device inspired by it during the IFA 2018 , but with the difference of being a manual slider without the engine called Honor Magic 2 . This output will also be used by Xiaomi in Mi Mix 3 , and by Lenovo in the possible Z5 Pro.
Magic 2, which has the new Kirin 980 HiSilicon chipset and some artificial intelligence features, should include enhanced charging technology with support for 40 watt power quick-charging, screen with very few edges, and still have the slider housing the cameras.
The important thing is that the device has already gone into mass production, and should soon be ready for launch. Some believe that it may happen in the coming months, in China, even though there is no specific date confirmed, or details about its price and hardware, which remain unknown.
