And the leaks and rumors about Huawei’s Mate 20 series do not stop coming out. Today we have already seen a supposed prototype of Mate 20 Pro being displayed in image , reiterating the existence of a curved screen, similar to what we see in devices such as Galaxy S9 Plus and Galaxy Note 9 , in addition to a notch large enough to house a facial recognition system in 3D, similar to the Face ID used by Apple on the iPhone X.
This particular series has always been characterized by delivering large screens. In the case of Mate 20 Pro , it was expected that it would have a display of approximately 7 inches. But in fact, this does not seem to happen, according to a 3D CAD rendering of the device, which shows the screen size of it. Nothing 6.9 inches, but 6.24 inches, according to the picture. This is a large but acceptable size considering the borderless display.
The notch once again is confirmed. It should house not only a powerful front camera, possibly 24 megapixels, but also a 3D facial recognition system. In addition, once again the curved screen on the sides gives the faces, reinforcing several previous rumors pointing to the possibility that Huawei adopt this type of technology in its display, at least in the case of Mate 20 Pro.
Meanwhile, we’re still waiting for more device news. It should be unveiled on October 16, according to the image that began to be released by Huawei today . This particular smartphone, the Mate 20 Pro, should still have three rear cameras , arranged inside a large square on the back of the phone. Now, it remains to see if more things will be revealed before the announcement.
