We know that LG works on the Q9 , which is likely to bring a battery of 3,550mAh , but it was confusing by then in which segment the smartphone would fit because, well, the South Korean made a big confusion with the nomenclature Q.
However, an image leak of the device shows its design, giving us clues that, added to the specifications obtained until then, make great sense.
You should remember that last year the manufacturer launched the Q6 line here , smartphones that stood between the products of entry and intermediaries. This year we won the Q7 , which brings very discreet upgrades and even brings a retrogression in terms of design.
However, there is already Q8 2017 and no, it is no more current than the Q7, let alone an intermediate cell phone: this is a version of V20 with Snapdragon 820. So what segment rays could the Q9 occupy? Well, it looks like the middleman.
The smartphone should feature a Snapdragon 660 chipset, showing that it does not necessarily come to replace the Q7, but rather to fill the gap of intermediate devices that LG has not occupied for years. In addition, it should come in two variants as we saw with the Q6, which is marketed with 32 GB or 64 GB of storage. The difference would be that both versions would bring 4 GB of RAM.
In addition, the Q9 would come with Android Oreo 8.1 factory, with LG’s proprietary interface.
As you can see, only the front of the phone was leaked. The maker plans to launch a smartphone with three cameras soon, and as much as there is a possibility that Q9 comes with these features, this is unlikely to occur, as it is more routine new features debut first in top-of-the-range devices.
And you, what do you think of the upgrades that the new smartphone Q will offer? Tell us in the comments!
