STYLED PERSONALITY – The DS once again plays the daring style card for its new model, as it did in the past for the DS5 and more recently for the DS7 Crossback media suv. In this case the designers of the French brand (part of the PSA together with Citroën, Opel and Peugeot) will give a distinctive look to the compact crossover DS3 Crossback ,
a model expected to debut in just over a month at the Paris Motor Show aims to be an alternative to cars like the Audi Q2, the Fiat 500X and the Mini Countryman. As seen in our graphic reconstruction ( above) the DS3 Crossback will have a large front bezel, the uprights painted black (to make it look like a suspended roof) and a sort of fin on the side, a very distinctive element of style.
EVEN HYBRID – The DS3 Crossback will be very original even on the inside, where there could be the rhomboid shape commands already seen on the DS7 Crossback and the clock with hands in the console. There will be no lack of high quality coatings and refined materials, starting from the upholstery, details on which the DS aims a lot to challenge in the field of quality the most noble Audi and Mini. The French crossover will only have front-wheel drive and not full-wheel drive,
despite having a completely new mechanical base. The technicians of the PSA have decided however to aim on the engines to batteries, so much so that the new platform is designed to house inside the batteries of the future hybrid version, an alternative to the traditional 1.2 petrol engines of 82, 110 or 131 HP or 1.5 with diesel engines of 99 or 120 HP.
